Why Every Portfolio EV User Should Be in Our Discord Channel
rheeformed asked: I may have missed it, but how do you set each book by how much you have available for accurate betting size? The filter tab seems to apply to all portfolios.
Your bankroll is everything you have spread across books, not each individual books.
Keeping a bigger balance on books like DraftKings, BetMGM and Hard Rock where you can get more bets each day is probably a good start. As far as bet sizing, don’t view your bankroll as by each individual book.
Lawrence4055 asked: How quickly does Portfolio EV react to players being out news? Are the OS ratings calibrated against other books who may be slower catching up, potentially inflating the OS score?
Sharp books do move slower at times. Personally, I have Underdog NBA alerts turned on so if I see a player is ruled out or news breaks I know to temporarily avoid those crazy-high OS rating bets.
You can also go into “data” and see if pinnacle has moved off the previous line yet. If you go into the Top Bets tool and see eight of the top bets are from one team, there is a good chance news just broke and you should wait.
BrooklynLife asked: DraftKings limited me despite being profitable. Any advice?
Limits aren’t the end. I’m limited too, but I still get thousands down each night. Use the Mass Bet tool to easily place 100-plus bets daily on DraftKings. Combine multiple books and diversify your bets — FanDuel’s selective markets have been great for me post-limitation.
acaciomacedo21 asked: What’s the Mass Entry tool?
Mass entry is huge. Click the book you’re betting with, and all selected bets automatically populate your bet slip. It saves hours per day and makes placing hundreds of bets simple — even when limited.
MatterFAQ asked: I’m shifting to top-down betting. Spending hours stat digging feels pointless when picks don’t hit.
Exactly. The point of Portfolio EV is to eliminate hours spent on traditional analysis. Instead, we grind small edges at high volume. If you bet 100-plus bets daily, a few “bad” bets won’t matter. Trust the process, not the daily swings.
Potito26 asked: What’s the minimum OS number I should consider betting?
There isn’t a hard minimum — it’s preference. Generally, if a bet’s true odds are better than what the book is offering, it’s technically a good bet. The key is how big your edge is. Lower OS means lower bet size; higher OS means higher confidence — but always check for breaking news and odds movements.
