Giants-Dodgers Bet: Logan Webb O/U 17.5 Outs

We rarely see this line for Logan Webb, but the books are smart and the line is 17.5 for a reason. Webb has faced off against this Dodgers squad a handful of teams in years past, and it always hasn’t been pretty. Last season, he faced off against Los Angeles four times and allowed 13 runs. He was still able to reach six innings in two of those starts to cash this prop, though.

This is a different Webb this year. He pitched six innings early in the season and allowed four earned runs and only one walk. His walk rate is at the best of his career and ranks in the top 6% of baseball. His unique way of getting hitters to bite early in the count is what makes him special. He ranks in the top 20 in the fewest pitches thrown per at-bat.

The history against the Dodgers hitters isn’t phenomenal. Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman have his number, but they are as talented as there is in the game and are tough for any pitcher to get out. As long as he flies through the rest of the order, Webb will crush this line like he has all season long. He has surpassed this line in 12 of 14 starts and nine of his last 10.

Best Giants-Dodgers Bet: Logan Webb Over 17.5 Outs (-132, BetRivers)
