FanDuel’s Dinger Tuesday is here! Most of the home run bets are on power hitters like Pete Alonso, Fernando Tatis Jr and Aaron Judge, who are all below +300 on FanDuel to hit a home run. With that said, let’s attack guys like Jake Fraley and Hunter Renfroe as top Dinger Tuesday with value according to OddsShopper Premium’s tools.
Have you not heard of FanDuel Sportsbook’s Dinger Tuesday? Here is how it works: After opting into the promotion, users who wager at least $25 on a straight bet for a player to hit a home run will earn a $5 bonus bet for each home run hit in that batter’s game. You can win up to $25 in bonus bets for each entry.
New to FanDuel? Get $150 in bonus bets if you are a first-time depositor and place a $5 wager.
Ideally, one would pick a hitter in each game on the slate to cash in on the promotion. However, if you are limited by either funds or the sportsbook itself, targeting high totals is the optimal play.
There is a caveat here. Because the promotion is limited to FanDuel, you may have to pass up the best number to take advantage. In general, this should be looked at as a fun wager that also happens to come with some slight positive EV — but this is not the same process as the rest of OddsShopper Premium’s other offerings.

Best Home Run Picks Today: FanDuel’s Dinger Tuesday
Jake Fraley +560 | Cincinnati Reds vs. Colorado Rockies
Jake Fraley’s bat is heating up, as he is hitting .414 against right-handers in May. He will be up against 35-year-old right-hander Chase Anderson, who is making his debut for the Colorado Rockies, having just been claimed off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays, and he has struggled mightily in his last few seasons in the big leagues.
Fraley has racked up hits in his last few games and even has a multi-hit game in five of his last 10. But home runs are what matter here, and he has gone yard five times this season, all came against righties. Those include three in his last four games.
James Outman +560 | Minnesota Twins vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
One problem with this promo is how juiced these home runs props are on FanDuel. The Dodgers hitters have power throughout their whole lineup, but most of the players are not worth playing in terms of value. Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts to go yard are both +450 on Caesars, but they are down to +300 on FanDuel.
For a value play instead, look to James Outman. He had the day off yesterday but pinch-hit late in the game, and all signs point to Outman getting the nod in center field. Outman will face off against Bailey Ober with the wind blowing out. There is no debating how good Ober has been this season, as he has a 1.85 ERA but is coming off his worst performance of the season. This is the time to attack him.
Outman has gone yard eight times this season and seven times against a right-handed pitcher. Bettors get $5 back for each home run hit, so it makes all the sense to back the Dodgers, who have hit the second-most home runs this season.
Hunter Renfroe +420 | Los Angeles Angels vs. Baltimore Orioles
It was a home run party in Baltimore last night, with five dingers in just five innings. It could be the same story tonight, with regression candidate Dean Kremer on the mound for the Orioles. Kremer and his xERA of 6.96 are among the worst in baseball.
Hunter Renfroe is the top home run bet in the Angeles-Orioles game. Renfroe is a right-handed bat and has gone yard 10 times this season. Interestingly enough, eight of them have come off right-handed pitchers. Teammates Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani are both below +320 on FanDuel, so go with the value on Renfroe.
Editor’s Note: After publication, it was announced that Hunter Renfroe would not be in the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Angeles.
