Best Home Run Picks Today: FanDuel’s Dinger Tuesday

Elly Da La Cruz +630 | Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds

Elly Da La Cruz is itching for the second home run of his big-league career. It can’t come at a better time with the wind blowing in Cincinnati and him facing off against a RHP in Noah Davis. Cruz possesses some of the best pop off the bat in baseball at just 21 years old. He ranks in the top 5% of the league in maximum exit velocity and slashes RHP. In 33 at-bats, Cruz has 11 hits with five going for extra bases.

On the other side of the diamond, Reds pitcher Ben Lively has given up five home runs in four games played at home. Even though the Rockies’ hitters are away from Coors Field, they still possess even pop to rack in the free bets for bettors. Four home runs alone were hit in five innings in the first game of this series.

Kyle Schwarber +320 | Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies

June has arrived, and so has Kyle Schwarber. A perfect match for Dinger Tuesday, Schwarber has hit seven home runs in just 17 games this month. He erupted for 12 home runs last June. He’ll face off against NL CY Young candidate Spencer Strider who he knows very well. Schwarber took Strider deep in a game last season back in July. Ironically, that is his only hit off Strider in 13 career at-bats.

With Schwarber surging in June and Strider allowing six home runs in his last three starts, this feels like a great time for a Schwarber bomb at Citizens Bank Park.

Gary Sanchez +430 | San Diego Pades vs. San Fransisco Giants

I’ll leave you with the nightcap game to sweat. Gary Sanchez has made his mark for the Padres since being acquired via trade in late May. He has hit five home runs in June, with all five coming against RHP. He’ll be opposed by RHP Anthony DeSclafani who has a 4.31 ERA and has one of the lowest BB% in the MLB. With Sanchez hitting at the bottom of the order, DeSclafani will be forced to give him hittable pitches to avoid giving him a free base and having the top of the order drive him home.
