FanDuel Sportsbook’s Dinger Tuesday is back. A full 15-game slate is on tap which means we have plenty of options to target for the best home run bets.
Remember, FanDuel DOES NOT void batters who are not in the lineup. We advise you to wait until lineups are announced to make your Dinger Tuesday picks.
Diving into ballpark factors and the weather is extremely important when targeting these home run bets. With that being said, let’s jump into the action.
Best Home Run Picks Today: FanDuel’s Dinger Tuesday
Nolan Arenado +370 | St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds
A beautiful day is set in Cincinnati. The weather calls for 80 degrees and features a Cardinals lineup that is slugging at the best rate in baseball against right-handed pitching in May. So which Cardinal batter do we target? Paul Goldschmidt and Paul DeJong are easy choices, but the value isn’t there. They both sit below +300 to hit a home run on FanDuel. Meanwhile, Nolan Arenado and Tommy Edman seem like the best choices.
After a poor start to the season, Arenado has turned it up as of late. He’s hit seven home runs in his last 30 days which ranks as the seventh most in baseball. Four of those home runs have come against right-handed pitching in May. That leads us to his opponent tonight, Graham Ashcraft. The two have faced off six times with Arenado taking him deep once. This seems like the best game to target for home runs with powerful hitters on both sides.
Wander Franco +700 | Toronto Blue Jays vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Wander Franco gets overlooked in the best offense in baseball. With hitters like Randy Arozarena, Josh Lowe, and Brandon Lowe, hitting below him, Franco is in a great spot to go yard tonight against right-hander Jose Berrios.
The switch-hitting Franco has seven home runs this season with six of them coming off right-handers. Berrios allowed the sixth most home runs last season but has bounced back in a big way. But he hasn’t been great on the road this season. He has a 6.36 ERA and already faced this Rays lineup this season.
The Blue Jays, headlined by Daulton Varsho and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., provide a ton of pop and give MLB bettors the chance to make their money back on home runs alone.
