This is a hefty number to say the least. There are a handful of batters worth trusting to cash this player prop bet, and Bryce Harper is one of them. Harper and the Phillies will battle it out against RHP Trevor Williams, who is making his fourth start against the Phillies just this season. That screams offensive explosion. Harper and his familiarity with Williams will be on full display on ESPN.
Harper has seen Williams 17 different times in their careers and has decent success against the righty. The two-time MVP has registered three hits and five walks in 17 at-bats against Williams, while the rest of the Phillies order has also had success against him. Alec Bohm and Nick Castellanos, who both will be hitting in between Harper, are a combined 12-for-40 with seven extra-base hits, including a home run each, against Williams. Bohm and Castellanos will need to come up clutch today with Harper on base to help him reach this high total.
Harper has only cashed this prop in 39% of games this season, but he could very well see five at-bats tonight, with the Phillies listed as the road team. One swing of the bat can cash this prop, but look for Harper to spray the ball around in the Little League Classic, especially to right field with the 328 feet wall.
