Well, our mini-heater continues! That’s now a 4-1 winning streak on no run first inning bets, but it very well could’ve (read: SHOULD’VE) been a 5-0 run! Logan Webb threw a complete-game GEM last night and allowed one run — of course, it was in the first inning. Tough break, but we were bang on with our analysis of that game.
One quick favor, I’m SO CLOSE to 5,000 followers on Twitter, so if you guys could follow me on Twitter and help me get there, that would be very much appreciated! 🙏🙏
Let’s stay dialed in and get after these Tuesday NRFI picks and predictions.

Miami Marlins vs. New York Mets First Inning Bet
This is an exact replica of last Tuesday’s Mets-Marlins matchup, with Braxton Garrett and Joey Lucchesi getting the starts tonight.
The left-handed Lucchesi takes on the Marlins again tonight after cashing our NRFI a week ago. He’s riding a three-game no run first inning streak, he might get a small boost if Luis Arraez is still out with that ankle injury. As long as he stays away from walking batters, he should be OK.
It seems that all Marlins pitchers have been great with NRFIs this season, and Garrett is no exception. Our guy is 23-6 in his no run first inning opportunities this season and has NRFI’d the Mets THREE times already this season.
Let’s run this rematch back and go for the same result!

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays First Inning Bet
It’s rematch day, apparently, because we’re getting ANOTHER rematch with Michael King taking on Kevin Gausman in this Yankees-Blue Jays game. The duo combined for 23 strikeouts (King 13, Gausman 10) in that game, and the NRFI cashed … of course.
Gausman leads the American League in strikeouts this season (232), and he’s four ahead of Pablo Lopez. The Blue Jays are fighting for seeding in the Wild Card, and there’s no doubt Gausman wants the strikeout crown, so I expect him to be dialing it up tonight. He’s 21-9 on NRFIs and has cashed the no run first inning in all three of his starts against the Yankees this season.
King is 4-3 on NRFIs this year, but he’s been pretty solid all around. In 94.2 innings, he’s notched 121 strikeouts, has a 2.66 ERA and has only given up seven home runs. Against the Blue Jays, he’s yet to give up a homer, has held them to a .206 average and has 28 strikeouts.
With Vegas setting the total of this game at 7, we’re getting a GREAT setup for a NRFI.

Tuesday’s YRFI/NRFI Parlay
Bet365 has the best odds on both of these bets as singles, so fire each of the individual plays up there, and if you parlay it, you’re looking at +225.
However, after recording my video, DraftKings Sportsbook offered 25% profit boost on any MLB parlay, so if you choose to utilize that boost (which you should), you’ll get +255 odds on those Marlins-Mets and Yankees-Blue Jays NRFI.
