BANG! Was there any doubt we would SMASH our last no run first inning bet parlay?!? Of course not! We had worked so hard all season, the NRFI gods sent us down a sweat-free +273 parlay win with some of our best NRFI bets of the year!
It’s Game 7 of this incredibly drunk Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS. We FINALLY got that NRFI bet right on Monday’s game. So let’s stay dialed in and fire up one more yes/no run first inning bet today before we head into the World Series.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks First Inning Bet
We’ve been taken to pound town by Ranger Suarez and Brandon Pfaadt already this postseason. That changes tonight. We’re going to be the ones sending these two betas on a train to pound town.
The Diamondbacks finally did what we’d been hoping they’d do all series — get frisky on the basepaths. In Game 6, the D-backs swiped four bags to ramp up the pressure on the Phillies. That seemed to help give the offense a shot in the arm and gave them a 5-1 win. SHOCKER! It’s not like we’ve been YELLING FOR IT ALL SERIES. Looking to tonight’s matchup, Suarez has worked some Harry Potter-like wizardry and allowed exactly ZERO baserunners to score this postseason. Yes, he has a 100% strand rate, which feels unsustainable. Not to mention he has somehow cut his walk rate by almost 66%. This feels … sus. With the regression monster looming for Suarez, I like the Diamondbacks to keep the offense rolling here in the top of the first inning and possibly make this a sweat-free cash.
Ah, what a relief it is to have an offense like the Phillies as a backup plan. Kyle Schwarber and his absolute thumper of a bat could send one of his patented howitzers into the rightfield seats on the first pitch. We’ve seen it before. Pfaadt somehow stymied this Phillies offense to only two hits in 18 at-bats, which I’m still shaking my head at. In three starts, Pfaadt has a 0.71 BB/9 inning rate, which is a far cry from his career 2.44 mark. Yes, it’s a small sample, but doing THIS against some of the league’s best offenses in the postseason? I’m a skeptic. Bigly.
The Phillies are going to be fired up after being shut down yesterday in Game 6, and with this being their second time seeing this young right-hander, I think we could get a crooked number here in the bottom half of the first.
For our final first inning bet of this NLCS, we’re rooting for fun! Fire up the YRFI!
