The Orioles start Corbin Burnes for what should be another solid outing, facing a Jays team struggling in their own right to stay at .500 on the year. Rutschman has a modest seven-game hit streak heading into tonight, including a single in last night’s win.
He faces Trevor Richards as Toronto’s opener who comes in with a stellar .192 xBA combined with a .291 xwOBA. He’s not an easy target for Rutschman by any chance, and if there’s a night for regression, it would be on the road against an arm pitching to contact. Both pitchers are in prime spots to deal with aggressive lineups, but for tonight, we see either a single or that hit streak coming to an end.

Crawford comes in with a .308 xwOBA and a 23.1% strikeout rate, not the easiest matchup for Albies trying to improve on his contact.
