It’s not often there are 17 games on an MLB slate, but the mid-week is jammed with activity. Wednesday’s action starts as early as 1:10 p.m. ET in Cleveland all the way through 10 p.m. as the Phillies and Dodgers do it again. There are a few options with DraftKings Pick6 today that truly stand out among the rest, primarily because we are building profitable lineups that aren’t always the most popular plays. Brandon Nimmo M/L Than 8.5 Fantasy Points

It’s another night at Coors Field for the Mets and Brandon Nimmo. This game has a double-digit total, this one sitting at 11.5 despite last night’s number coming up short. While neither pitcher leaves much to be desired, both Ryan Feltner and Mets arm Paul Blackburn have been best at limiting hard contact. We don’t care whether Nimmo goes yard or wears down Rockies pitching, but with an expected bounce back of runs scored, we should see plenty of at-bats for Nimmo.

He seemed comfortable last night with two hits — a double and an RBI single — sandwiched between Francisco Lindor and J.D. Martinez. One other reason to back Nimmo piling up fantasy points is his increased chance of scoring a run. With only Lindor ahead of him, Nimmo has been fortunate enough to score on most of his recent hits. We’ll take our chances with one of the Mets’ best hitters against a shaky Feltner with moon-like atmospheric conditions.

Rafael Devers M/L Than 8.5 Fantasy Points

The Royals will send Cole Ragans to the mound tonight to bounce back from a tight loss to the Red Sox. We target Rafael Devers in what should be another higher-scoring game despite Ragans’ metrics and good season on the bump. Kutter Crawford goes for Boston, also with some decent to good metrics, but both teams are overall better at the plate. Devers saw five plate appearances, walked once and went 0-for-4. That was not the best night, but the volume at the plate certainly was there.

We are looking at continued chances for Devers in this game tonight, as we expect it to go over the total. Both teams worked their pen yesterday — Boston a little more than Kansas City — and might simply leave their starters out there a little longer. I like my shot with Devers against Ragans in the second or even third time through the lineup, again expecting there to be runs on the board and chances at the plate.
