Best MLB All-Star Game Bets & Picks: Expert Consensus on the Winner
Eric Lindquist: National League Moneyline
Let’s take the National League as close to even as we can get. Although the American League has been dominant lately, I don’t put much stock in that when attacking tonight’s action, especially since the AL won’t have superstars like Mike Trout or Aaron Judge.
I also love the options the NL will have to close out tonight’s MLB All-Star Game. They can go with the lefty in Josh Hader or any of their several elite righty relievers, and they’ll get a chance to pick their matchups because there probably won’t be many good pinch-hitting options left that deep in the game.
Don’t go nuts with this one, but in a spot where we’re getting close to even money to back the better roster, it’s hard to pass on the NL.

Justin Martin: National League Moneyline
It’s been over 10 years since the NL won this game — so long that Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter and David Ortiz suited up in the game. Melky Cabrera even won the MVP — the same Melky Cabrera that made only one MLB All-Star Game appearance in his career.
Both squads are dealing with a plethora of injuries. The NL is missing plenty of stellar pitching options, while the AL is missing two starters in Trout and Judge. The AL takes the crown for the better bullpen, but the NL lineup is loaded at the top, which will most likely see two at-bats tonight.
Ronald Acuna Jr. and Mookie Betts give the NL not only pop but speed to get on the board early in what should prove to be a low-scoring affair.

Isaiah Sirois: O/U 7.5 Runs
Betting on meaningless games is usually not a profitable endeavor, but for those bold enough to try, targeting the total doesn’t seem so foolhardy. The last two MLB All-Star Games were all played in stadiums that are much friendlier to hitters but did not see the final score crack seven runs.
A longer look back at All-Star Game history reveals that those games are the rule, not the exception. Since 2006, 11 of the 16 All-Star Games played have featured less than seven runs. Only one All-Star Game in that span produced double-digit runs. Let’s take advantage of the 7.5 that most books are hanging and hope for a low-scoring affair.
