MLB Home Run Pick Today: Randy Arozarena
Last Sunday we targeted Julio Rodriguez to hit his first home run of the season — and we missed it by two days. At least Rodriguez has been hitting the ball this season, even if he isn’t hitting for much power.
Arozarena, on the other hand, has been an all-around disappointment. He wasn’t an MVP candidate or anything crazy going into this season, but we’ve been waiting on Arozarena to move from All-Star to superstar a few years now, and instead he’s moving in the opposite direction — posting career-low power numbers and striking out at the same rate as his rookie season.
But at least he has taken the ball out of the park a few times this year, including once in the last week. So congrats, I guess.

What matters most here, however, is the market. Arozarena to hit a home run has +426 True Odds in the OddsShopper MLB betting model, and only two books are offering odds better than that mark.
