Best MLB Home Run Bets & Picks: Jeff McNeil Goes Yard

Home run longshots are fun, and +1060 is even better. Jeff McNeil has just five home runs this season but now is hitting in the three-hole and getting good pitches while hitting in between Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso. He took a pitch deep in Citi Field just four days ago to make it two home runs in his last 10 games.

RHP Yonny Chirinos of the Atlanta Braves is a solid matchup for McNeil and other left-handed hitters in the New York Mets order. Chirinos has allowed seven home runs in just 141 at-bats this season and ranks in the bottom 15th percentile in expected batting average, hard hit rate and average exit velocity. Expect some hard-hit balls in Citi Field in great hitting conditions.

Adley Rutschman is one of the most exciting young players in all of baseball. He has hit two home runs in the last five games and the switch-hitting catcher offers power from both sides of the plate. He has 11 home runs from the left side, which is where he will be hitting today against RHP Bryce Miller of the Seattle Mariners.

Miller is allowing a slugging rate of over .500 and eight home runs in 151 at-bats to left-handed hitters. He has been hit hard in his last few starts, with seven home runs allowed in his last five games. Rutschman will look to put on a show just like he did in the first round of the Home Run Derby.
