Without Dinger Tuesday, home run bets became a little less fun. As of publication, Caesars Sportsbook hasn’t offered their two 25% boosts on any home run bet today. Let’s cross our fingers that promo is still active. While we wait, let’s dive into today’s best MLB home run picks and bets for Braves-Phillies and Cubs-Rockies. We’re trusting Alec Bohm against a lefty.

Braves-Phillies Home Run Pick
When: 6:40 p.m. ET
Where: Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia
Justin’s Target: Alec Bohm at FanDuel
This game is a home run bettor’s dream. There’s a ton of power on both sides but sportsbooks are offering little to no value on the top guys. There’s one player in particular who has a favorable matchup and is +800 on FanDuel with the next best odds coming from DraftKings at +600. That player is Alec Bohm.
Bohm isn’t talked about enough for this Phillies team. He’s driven in 89 runs, which ranks in the top 25 in baseball and can be moved around the order. We’ve seen him hit out of the two-hole when Trea Turner was struggling, and even in the cleanup spot with Nick Castellanos now in a slump. We’ll see where manager Rob Thompson puts him today but what we do know is that Bohm is a lefty killer and is the best home run bet to make in this Braves-Phillies game.
Against RHP, Bohm splits are nothing to get giddy about. He’s hitting .266 with six home runs in 349 at-bats. Against LHP is where it gets juicy. He’s hit 10 home runs in 143 at-bats with a slugging rate of .580. He’ll face off against LHP Max Fried who has been sensational this season with a 2.70 ERA in limited action. With that being said, Bohm has 18-bats under his belt against Fried with five hits and two walks. Give me these odds all day for Bohm who has hit three home runs in the last 30 days against LHP.

Cubs-Rockies Home Run Pick
When: 8:40 p.m. ET
Where: Coors Field, Denver
Justin’s Target: Cody Bellinger at DraftKings
If there’s a game at Coors Field and you’re not betting on home runs to take place, you’re doing it wrong. Cody Bellinger finds himself at Coors Field, now adjusted to the altitude, and is ready to go yard. He’ll be opposed by RHP Chris Flexen who is not great to be put lightly. Flexen has allowed at least one home run in 10 of his last 11 games. The data goes farther back but he started the season in the bullpen and has been a starter ever since being acquired from the Seattle Mariners.
Bellinger has crushed both RHP and LHP pitchers so assuming Flexen gets pulled early tonight, Bellinger has the advantage. He’s hitting over .317 this season which puts him in the top 10 – a remarkable turnaround after a crushing final year in Los Angeles. Along with hitting for average, Bellinger has hit 25 home runs with 16 of them coming off of RHP. I’ll gladly bite at this price every time for a slugger like Bellinger playing at Coors Field. He’ll look to make it six out of his last 13 games to drive one out.
Best MLB Home Run Bet: Cody Bellinger +450 at DraftKings
