Nationals-Blue Jays Pick: Best MLB Bets Today

Let’s start with the matchup. Trevor Williams is on the mound for the Nationals, and while his profile isn’t overwhelming — low whiff rate, some regression signals — his 2.77 xwOBA from last year is elite. It’s a number that really stands out on the stat sheet.

Jose Berrios on the other side helped us cash tickets on Opening Day when he gave up six runs, nine hits and two walks over just five innings. This is his second turn through the rotation, and it’s a great spot to get back in on fading him. Toronto has plenty of firepower — Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, and lefties like Nathan Lukes and Anthony Santander — but Williams has done enough to keep me interested here.

I almost played the first five, but I prefer the full game at +135 on the moneyline. It is better value, and I’m willing to risk it for the biscuit.
