PrizePicks MLB Tonight:

Martín Maldonado More/Less 0.5 Total Bases

Martín Maldonado finally gets a matchup MLB bettors can target. He’ll face off against LHP Patrick Corbin and his .320 batting average allowed to right-handed hitters. Maldonado is hitting lefties at a .222 average, much higher than his .169 average against RHP.

He’s ripped a home run off Corbin which is his lone hit in seven career at-bats against the southpaw. Maldonado has registered a hit in 22 of 47 games this season and an even better 52% at home.

Brandon Crawford More/Less 0.5 Total Bases

Like Martín Maldonado, Brandon Crawford sees a pitcher in Jack Flaherty that he hits well. Crawford hits RHP much better than LHP. He ripped off two hits last night against the St. Louis Cardinals to make it four games in his last 10 to have at least two hits.

Crawford has faced off against Flaherty seven times with the advantage going to the hitter. He has two hits off the righty with both being extra-base hits. Nine of his 11 extra-base hits have come against right-handed pitching this season.

James Outman More/Less 0.5 Total Bases

Another bottom of the order hitter whose opposing pitcher struggles against left-handed hitters. James Outman is used as a pinch hitter when opposing teams go to a RHP in their bullpen. Now that he’s starting, Outman is in a great spot to record a hit. He’s recorded a hit in four of his last 10 games but three of those misses is when he came in to pinch hit.

RHP Lance Lynn will have his hands full against this loaded Dodgers offense that can put up runs in a hurry. He’ll be slated near the bottom of the order where Lynn is primed to give him hittable pitches. Lynn is allowing lefties to hit for an average of .362.

Brandon Williamson More/Less 4.5 Strikeouts

With all these hitter props, we have to find a way to fade a pitcher. LHP Brandon Williamson of the Cincinnati Reds is a highly ranked Reds prospect that is still adjusting to the MLB lifestyle. He ranks in the bottom 6% of the league in xERA and xSLG. His 17.8 K% is too low for even a Royals team that is prone to strikeout.

Williamson has stayed under this total in two of five starts and even went 5+ innings in his last start but only punched out three batters.
