Njokuani-McKee Pick & Preview

Chidi Njokuani (22-10) will look to end a three-fight skid on Saturday with a fight scheduled against Rhys McKee (13-5-1). McKee is looking for some momentum of his own — in his last fight, which marked his first UFC fight since 2020, he lost in a unanimous decision.

Njokuani and McKee both have a ton on the line this Saturday, as a loss would mean four straight UFC defeats for either fighter — that’s not a recipe for staying on the roster. But even with so much at stake, it’s probably sharper to play the over on the total rounds market than anything else.

Njokuani, who has a background in kickboxing, certainly has stopping power — both of his wins in the UFC (and his lone win in the Contender Series) came by knockout, and both knockouts came in the first round.

But if Njokuani doesn’t get a quick knockout, his fights can drag on for a while. His five-fight UFC career has seen his bouts last longer than 1.5 rounds just twice, but he went over that number in five of his eight Bellator bouts.

McKee hasn’t shown that same stopping power, but he has shown the ability to drag fights out. Two of his three UFC losses lasted longer than 1.5 rounds (and even made it to the scorecards). Four of his six Cage Warriors fights also lasted longer than the 1.5.

Most importantly, we’re beating the market with this Njokuani-McKee bet for Saturday’s action: SuperBook is taking action on this one at odds of +120, but most other public books have this between +110 or +100. Pinnacle, a sharp book, even lists it for +120. Jump on the value before it gets bid off the board.

Best UFC Njokuani-McKee Bet & Pick: Over 1.5 +120 at SuperBook
