Martin Buday: -120 | Jake Collier: +102
Over 2.5: -134 | Under 2.5: +106

Jake Collier needs a win. He lost his last two fights, one by knockout, the other by decision, and now owns a record of 13-8. The 34-year-old Collier now fights in the heavyweight division after starting out as a middleweight and is only 2-4 since he debuted in the weight class back in 2020.

On the other side of the octagon, Martin Buday can’t do anything but win. After coming up through Dana White’s contender series, Buday has put together a 3-0 record in the UFC with wins over Lorenzo Hood, Chris Barnett and Lukasz Brzeski.

Both fighters squared off against Barnett in 2022. Collier suffered a knockout on punches but Buday won unanimously by technical decision. Yet the books aren’t as keen on Buday as one would expect with his recent win over a common opponent — his implied odds are only 54.5%, slightly better than a coin toss.

Pinnacle, a sharp book, favors Buday by a slightly bigger margin. His implied odds slot in at 56.3% there, which points to a slight edge on Buday at FanDuel Sportsbook with the current number. Let’s tail the sharp books and get some exposure to Buday tonight as he takes on a reeling Collier. Readers yet to register at FanDuel can score $150 in bonus bets with a $5 wager!
