When Jon Jones signed-on to fight Ciryl Gane at UFC 285, the biggest question mark surrounding Jones was his weight class. Jones is one of the sports most decorated fighters, but most of his experience came as a light heavyweight. He put any doubts about his ability to move up to the Heavyweight division to rest by submitting Gane in the first round. Jones will now look to do even more damage when he takes on legendary heavyweight Stipe Miocic at UFC 295 in November. The clash of titans is already the most anticipated fight this year, so let’s take a look at the Jon Jones-Stipe Miocic UFC 295 odds for bettors looking to get an early jump on the action.

UFC 295 Odds: Jon Jones Betting Favorite Over Stipe Miocic
UFC fans have been hoping for a Jon Jones-Stipe Miocic for quite some time. Miocic’s last appearance in the Octagon came against Francis Ngannou in March of 2021. Things didn’t look pretty for Stipe, as he lost by second round knockout to Ngannou, losing his heavyweight title belt unceremoniously. He became a legend of the Heavyweight division in the UFC by holding the title for several years, a span that included a trio of fights against Daniel Cormier that cemented Miocic’s legendary status in the sport.
While Stipe has an incredible pedigree, he is a heavy underdog early in the UFC odds market for the pay-per-view spectacle. DraftKings has opened the bidding on Jones at -320 to Miocic’s +265. No other major U.S. sportsbook has released Jones-Miocic odds as of yet.
Miocic may have had a storied career, but it’s hard to compare that to the legacy of Jon Jones, who many consider to be the best fighter in history. Jones has a 27-1 career record, including ten knockout wins and seven submissions. That run dates back to 2008, with the only blip being a disqualification he suffered against Matt Hamill in 2009. Jones was winning the fight, but was disqualified for throwing elbows on his downed opponent.
Jones also enters with the more recent track record relative to Miocic. Jones moved up to heavyweight to take on Cyril Gane in March of 2023, winning the fight handedly. Prior to his match with Gane, Jones competed as a light heavyweight, with his last bout coming in 2020. Miocic is the biggest name in the division, although his layoff and age– he is currently 40-years old– might be a hurdle relative to Gane.
The early going has Jon Jones heavily favored over Stipe Miocic for many of these reasons, but it remains to be seen if the Jones-Miocic UFC 295 odds markets will tighten as the event approaches.
