We don’t stop winning here at OddsShopper. Our market-driven approach with the OddsShopper Parlay Builder hit another three-legger last night — earning us a cool +527 payout. That gives us three parlay hits in the last eight days, by the way. Now that you know how effective our tools and strategy are, it’s time to craft a multi-sport best parlay today using NBA and MLB props. Let’s take a look at BetMGM and build another winner.
Best Parlay for Today, May 5 | BetMGM
Jayson Tatum Over 8.5 Rebounds (-150)
Despite a poor performance in the last game, Tatum’s rebounding ability makes him a good pick for the over 8.5 rebounds line. He averaged 8.8 per game in the regular season and has gone over 8.5 in five of eight games in the playoffs. This performance is crucial for the Celtics, as it helps them control the possession and keep the opposition from scoring. Tatum had 11 rebounds in Game 1 of this series as well, which highlights his ability on the glass against top teams like the 76ers.
Cameron Payne Under 10.5 Points (-110)
Payne is expected to play a more prominent role with Chris Paul’s injury. However, this does not mean that he will fill the scoring void. Payne is not known for his scoring ability and is not likely to emerge as the team’s prominent scorer. The Suns probably need a combined 70 to 80 points from top scorers Devin Booker and Kevin Durant to stay competitive. If Payne scores 12 to 18 points, it is unlikely to keep the Suns in the game. Under 10.5 is the better play here.
Jhony Brito Over 3.5 Strikeouts (+105)
Although Brito’s strikeout rate is low, Rays starter Yonny Chirinos is not striking many out either. The Rays can really hit, but Luke Raley, Christian Bethancourt and Brandon Lowe, among others, are very susceptible to striking out. At plus money, Brito has a good shot to get over 3.5 strikeouts and adds a lot of value to the parlay.
All told, this parlay has an 8% expected ROI and a 16% expected win rate.
