Huerter, lovingly nicknamed Red Velvet, has shot lights out from beyond the arc this season. The sharpshooting wing has averaged a career-high 2.9 3-pointers per game on 41.4% shooting. Huerter has averaged 2.7 3-pointers per game so far this January and should benefit from facing the fast-paced Memphis Grizzlies tonight. Memphis ranks fifth in pace, slightly ahead of seventh-ranked Sacramento.
The Grizzlies have struggled to defend the perimeter. Although Jaren Jackson Jr. and Dillon Brooks can harass opposing shooters, neither Ja Morant nor Desmond Bane have played effective perimeter defense this season.
