Orlando’s Wendell Carter Jr. isn’t the most aggressive defender, but he does more than enough to warrant a shorter price. Carter is averaging 0.6 blocks per game on the season and 0.7 in 2023. He is also averaging 0.24 more blocks per game against Western Conference opponents. Although he failed to record a block in Orlando’s prior meeting with New Orleans, he swatted three total shots against them last year.
Poor shot selection by New Orleans and a lack of alternative rim protectors combine to make WCJ a sharp play tonight.
