Despite down minutes recently for Poeltl, there is reason to think he plays more tonight. Over the last couple of weeks, Poeltl has been plagued by foul trouble and blowouts. As one of the worst, if not the worst, teams in the NBA, the Spurs are prone to one-sided games, but the spread for tonight is only 7.5 points, with San Antonio playing at home. The last time Poeltl played in a competitive game, he ended up tallying 33.5 minutes, which isn’t an unrealistic expectation for tonight. Since Poeltl averages 9.0 rebounds per game in 25.9 minutes per night, this line is much too low if Poeltl can avoid fouls and a blowout. This is especially true since he finds himself an uptempo matchup against the Kings.

Kyrie Irving O/U 31.5 Points
Irving is scoring big point totals in recent games due to the absence of Kevin Durant. Durant remains out tonight, although Irving is in a difficult matchup against the Celtics. Boston’s defense ranks fifth in the NBA in adjusted net rating and continues to climb the ranks since Robert Williams III returned from injury. Irving’s scoring projection also gets hurt a bit with Ben Simmons sitting out tonight. A key player missing a game would normally be good for the scoring numbers of teammates, but Simmons is such a low-usage player that replacing him the lineup with pretty much anybody else means more a higher-usage player is entering the mix. Simmons only has one game with more than 10 points since Dec. 23.
