Eric Lindquist here breaking down my final NBA bets of 2024. First off, thank you to everyone who has joined me on this journey throughout the year — whether you’ve tailed the picks, offered feedback or just hung out in the comments. Your support has made this an incredible year of betting and content creation. Let’s finish strong with this six-game NBA slate.

As always, these picks are based on the latest info, but we’re waiting on injury news for several games. There are no locks today, but we have some strong leans and likes. Let’s get into the best NBA bets for today, from game lines to odds and player props. Best NBA Bets Today: Player Props, Lines & Odds

Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors

Boston is a massive 17.5-point favorite here, but the real focus is on player props. Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday could sit out, which would once again elevate Payton Pritchard into a significant role.

In these scenarios, Pritchard has been stellar, especially in usage-heavy matchups where Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown dominate but leave room for Pritchard to contribute across the stat sheet. If he’s in line for big minutes, consider a single-game parlay: 15-plus points, four-plus rebounds and four-plus assists. We’ve seen this strategy pay off before. Wait for confirmation on the news, as books often hold off on releasing Pritchard props until later.

NBA Best Bet: Payton Pritchard 15+ Points, 4+ Rebounds, 4+ Assists (LEANS)

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers

This is a tricky spot as we wait to see if Giannis Antetokounmpo will suit up. If he plays, this total should move above 231, aligning with my model’s projection. If he doesn’t, the current line of 229.5 is likely accurate.

There’s a slight edge to the over here, but without clarity on Giannis, it’s not worth locking in. Keep an eye on this game for potential value if the total shifts late.

NBA Best Bet: Over 229.5 (LEAN)

Los Angeles Clippers vs. San Antonio Spurs

Chris Paul always seems motivated against the Clippers, and his recent play has been solid. While the Spurs’ primary usage runs through Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell, Paul has found consistent opportunities to score against this team.

With this total sitting at 217, variance is limited, but if we get plus money on Paul scoring 10-plus points, it’s worth firing up. FanDuel is often the best spot for this prop. It’s not a lock due to the game environment, but it’s definitely a spot I like.

NBA Best Bet: Chris Paul 10+ Points (LIKE)

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

This is my favorite play on the board. Minnesota getting 6.5 points here feels like too much, especially with the absence of Alex Caruso for Oklahoma City. His defensive presence would have been crucial against Mike Conley and Donte DiVincenzo, who is starting to string together some impactful performances off the bench.

My model has Minnesota as a 5-point underdog, making this a solid value spot. The low total of 216.5 reduces variance, further supporting the case for the Timberwolves to cover. While Oklahoma City is a strong team, especially with Luguentz Dort back in the fold, the line gives too much respect to the Thunder in this matchup.

NBA Best Bet: Timberwolves +6.5 (LIKE)
