Best NBA Celtics-Heat Same Game Parlay for Eastern Conference Finals Game 3 (Al Horford Ain’t Cooked)

The Boston Celtics are in do-or-die mode facing a three-game deficit. They’ll have to play the Miami Heat on the road in this one, but will that stop them? Bettors seeking a viable NBA same-game parlay (SGP) for Sunday’s Celtics-Heat Eastern Conference Finals Game 3 should target these lines at FanDuel — we’re trusting Al Horford on the glass. Best Celtics-Heat NBA Same-Game Parlay for Game 3 | ECF

If you watched Game 2, you saw Jaylen Brown absolutely stink it up. Brown shot a miserable 7-for-23 from the field and finished with a team-worst box plus-minus of -24. Yikes. But unlike a lot of players, Brown has the capacity to bounce back from terrible nights. We’ve seen him do that a few times already in these playoffs. Let’s bet on a bounce-back showing from Brown and company on the road.

Jaylen Brown 25+ Points

Brown averaged 26.6 points per game in the regular season. He scored at least 25 points in 47 of his 67 (70.1%) total regular-season appearances. Although he is averaging only 23.9 points per game in the postseason, the relatively slow series against the Philadelphia 76ers hurt his averages. Brown is averaging 22 field goal attempts per game against the Heat, up from the 15.6 he averaged against the 76ers. Look for his shots to start falling.

Jaylen Brown Over 2.5 3-Pointers

Brown isn’t the world’s best perimeter shooter, but he has beaten this number in eight of his 15 postseason starts. He is yet to get there against the Heat, but he is averaging 6.5 attempts per game thus far. At his postseason conversion rate of 42.2%, Brown should be averaging 2.7 3-pointers per game this series. Look for him to regress to the mean on Sunday night, especially since the Heat have only been using Gabe Vincent as his primary defender.

Al Horford 6+ Rebounds

Horford tallied 10 rebound chances in Games 1 and 2. He came down with six rebounds n Game 1 before only recording four in Game 2. Let’s bet on a bounce-back showing, especially with head coach Joe Mazzulla emphasizing the importance of controlling the glass in his post-game press conference. Grant Williams couldn’t get a rebound in his minutes, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see Mazzulla pivot back to featuring Horford and Robert Williams III heavily in Game 3.

Boston Celtics Moneyline

The Boston Celtics are done if they lose Game 3. Their backs are against the wall, and their players will approach this game in that light. Although the Miami Heat will have home-court advantage, that hasn’t mattered much this year. The Heat are a solid 33-15 straight up at home but are only 16-25 against the spread. With the Celtics listed as a three-point favorite, expect Boston to steal a road game on Sunday.
