We don’t have many NBA games to choose from tonight. I’ll focus on two of the late games, the Denver Nuggets at the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets at the Phoenix Suns, for today’s NBA parlay picks. Most of my action is just straight NBA player prop bets, but I used our parlay builder to pick out a solid NBA parlay bet for a decent payday. NBA Parlay Bet Today: Picks for Anthony Davis & More
Leg #1: Grayson Allen u11.5 PTS | NBA Parlay Bet Today
The Suns will play the Houston Rockets tonight before playing the Oklahoma City Thunder tomorrow. That could lead to some creative rotations for Frank Vogel, especially with the Suns trading as pretty heavy favorites.
Grayson Allen is averaging 12.9 points per game this year, but when Bradley Beal, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant all healthy, his usage could dip. He scored only six points in 36 versus the Rockets without Beal on Thursday, too.
Allen has played the Rockets six times since the 2021-22 campaign. He is averaging 11.2 points per game through that stretch, staying under the 11.5 in four of six.
He put together some big games versus Houston with Phoenix but mainly when one of Beal, Durant or Booker sat out.
Leg #2: Anthony Davis u2.5 AST
The Los Angeles Lakers will face the Denver Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets have won their last seven games versus the Lakers (three excluding the playoffs). Davis averaged only two assists per game through that sample but cleared the 2.5 in four of seven.
Backing Davis in the assist column should prove sharp. This line is an overreaction to his recent production — Davis is averaging 3.6 assists per game on the year and 3.8 per game at home. He is even averaging 3.4 in February despite his recent dip in production.
Our model is deliberately designed to favor the under because, over the long term, that side of the player prop markets tend to be sharper. Do not take the fact it is recommending an over lightly.
