Best NBA Player Prop for Grizzlies-Lakers Game 3: Dillon Brooks is Silenced (April 22)

Dillon Brooks has caught headlines through the first two games of the series and it’s not due to his play on the court. After the Memphis Grizzlies Game 2 victory, Brooks was adamant about how he doesn’t fear LeBron James. Brooks may have to jump and woke up a monster. Dillon Brooks O/U 2.5 Three-Pointers

The Memphis Grizzlies have question marks regarding All-NBA guard Ja Morant and his health. As of publishing, he’s listed as questionable with a hand injury sustained in Game 1. The good news for bettors fading Dillon Brooks is that his usage rate only increases by 2.7 without Morant in the lineup this season.

Tonight we’re fading Brooks from behind the three-point line. Through the first two games of the series, Brooks is shooting four for 15 behind the arc and has had trouble staying out of foul trouble. Guarding LeBron James is a task on its own. Now, James is playing with extra motivation, and with an already chippy series, the referees could call this game tight. Brooks has played below his season average in minutes in both games and committed a quick two fouls in the first seven minutes in Game 2.

The Grizzlies were extremely successful playing without Morant in the regular season. Jaren Jackson Jr and Tyus Jones seem to step up in big ways. Desmond Bane is another candidate to erupt in Morant’s absence. Brooks will without a doubt shoot contested three-pointers and try to get his own shot going. We’re banking on his three-point shot to continue to struggle and cash our best NBA player prop for the night game.
