76ers-Celtics Game 7 NBA Player Prop | Robert Williams III

Robert Williams O/U 7.5 Points

The Boston Celtics pivoted to a starting lineup that featured Robert Williams III at the five for Game 6. The change worked: Williams scored 10 points and recorded nine rebounds in a series-high 28 minutes. He finished with a box plus-minus of +18 in the nine-point win. As a result, the Celtics are likely to keep him in the mix for Game 7.

Although Williams has a relatively limited skillset, he also has the athleticism to get behind the defense and score easy lob dunks. He averaged exactly eight points per game in the regular season. However, he also averaged 9.1 points per game at home, 1.7 more than what he averaged on the road. With Game 7 back in Boston, expect another solid showing from the Time Lord.

We’re also targeting Williams because of market-based factors. Pinnacle, a sharp book, has the over on this market priced at -123 (55.1%). However, we can find the over priced at only +100 (50%) via BetMGM, giving us a solid amount of edge to exploit. 76ers-Celtics Game 7 NBA Player Prop | Jaylen Brown

Jaylen Brown O/U 23.5 Points

We’re going to trust another member of Boston’s rotation with this pick. Jaylen Brown scored between 23 and 25 points in Games 1 through 5 but recorded only 17 in Game 6. Brown had his second-worst shooting night in that game and converted only 46.2% of his shots. I fully expect a bounce-back game from him in TD Garden — Brown is averaging 25.7 points per game here in the playoffs and has beaten this number in four of his six starts.

Because the Celtics shuffled their rotations around, Brown drew primary coverage from Tobias Harris and James Harden in Game 6. He spent most of Game 5 with P.J. Tucker breathing down his neck, so if the 76ers stick with the defensive assignments from Game 6, Brown should avoid Tucker’s aggressive defense. Although Harris and Harden were effective against Brown on Thursday, both are roughly breakeven defenders in FiveThirtyEight’s RAPTOR ratings and could easily be exploited.

We’re also locking in this play for some market-based reasons. Pinnacle has the over priced at -122 (55%), but we can buy it at -115 (53.5%) at FanDuel Sportsbook. That isn’t a game-breaking amount of edge, but it’s enough to suggest that the over is the sharper side of this player prop. With Boston in a win-or-go-home Game 7, we can also expect Brown to play close to the full game, better allowing him to beat this number.
