Celtics-76ers Game 4 NBA Player Prop | James Harden
James Harden O/U 20.5 Points
After a 45-point showing in Game 1, James Harden failed to clear the 20-point threshold in Games 2 or 3. However, with head coach Doc Rivers pleading with his players to pick up the pace, it doesn’t make sense for the books to have cut into Harden’s scoring props so much just because of his poor efficiency. He is too good of a player not to bounce back, especially in a must-win Game 4.
The volume has been there for Harden. He has taken 7.5 2-point shots, 6.5 3-point shots and 9.5 free throws per game over the last two contests. At his regular-season conversion rates, those attempts should’ve led to around 22.5 points per game. At his regular-season conversion rates against Boston, Harden should have tallied around 25 points per game. Instead, Harden averaged 14.
Harden’s regular-season numbers point to plenty of value here. He averaged 21 points per game and 25.5 against the Celtics. He also averaged 21.3 when asked to play 40-plus minutes and 21.6 when lined up against Atlantic Division opponents. Harden won’t keep shooting 17.9% from the floor against Boston, and you should buy the dip immediately. If you’re to register at FanDuel can get $150 in bonus bets after placing a $5 wager!

Celtics-76ers Game 4 NBA Player Prop | Al Horford
Al Horford O/U 1.3 3-Pointers
Did the oddsmakers watch Game 3? Although Al Horford had struggled with his perimeter shooting up to this point in the playoffs, as he had been averaging 1.4 makes per game on a 29.7% conversion rate, he seemingly fixed his shot by Friday night. Horford shot an impressive 5-for-7 from beyond the arc in Game 3. He went 2-for-3 in the 4:44 minutes he spent lined up directly with Joel Embiid. Seven of his attempted shots were recorded as uncontested.
Although Horford’s conversion rate in Game 3 (71.4%) isn’t sustainable, the volume points to value here. Horford’s average of 6.3 3-point attempts per game in this series should yield 2.9 makes per game at his regular-season conversion rate of 47.6%, yet the books have willingly set the total at 1.5 with the juice stacked on the over only slightly — the odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook imply Horford should go over this number only 60.8% of the time.
Horford has been a viable perimeter shooter all year, and it won’t be long before the books resume charging the appropriate amount for this prop. He converted at least two triples in 43 of his 63 (68.2%) regular-season appearances this year and in all three of his starts against Philadelphia. Horford averaged 3.3 makes on 7.7 attempts per game against the 76ers. Pinnacle, a sharp book, has the over priced at a much smarter -169 (62.8%). Let’s back Big Al to successfully hit the over on Sunday afternoon.
