Best Nuggets-Lakers Game 4 Player Props: LeBron James Needs to Take Over

LeBron James Player Prop: O/U 24.5 Points

James continued to be a lethal scorer in his age-38 season, averaging 28.9 points per game during the regular season. He has taken a step back during the postseason, averaging under 25 points in each of the first two series. His scoring downturn has continued against the Nuggets as he has scored 23.7 points per game during the three losses. But there s reason to believe LeBron will be more aggressive with the season on the line.

The Lakers superstar has a knack for becoming more aggressive with the team in dire straights. He finished the Conference semifinals by dropping 25 & 30 in the final two games and should be looking to take matters into his own hands after the last few letdowns. Bettors can head to DraftKings Sportsbook to lock in the over 24.5 points (-125). New users at DraftKings can get $150 in bonus bets with any $5 wager!

D’Angelo Russell Player Props: O/U 10.5 Points

It has been a series to forget for D’Angelo Russell. After another terrible shooting performance Saturday, Lakers fans are beginning to turn on Russell and his minutes have been getting cut. So, it would be crazy to back the point guard now, right? Maybe not.

The one thing about Russell is that he is going to continue to shoot the basketball whether the shots are dropping or not, and it really can’t get any worse for the streaky guard. He had just three points on 1 of 8 shooting (1-6 from 3-point range) in Game 3. Russell and Lakers coach Darvin Ham both expressed confidence after the game that Russell was taking the right shots and will have better fortune going forward.

“All good looks,” Ham said, per Lakers Nation. “He just has to remain aggressive. All good looks.”

Though Lakers fans are calling on Ham to bench Russell, the first-year coach is showing confidence in the point guard and will likely continue to lean on Russell and hope for better results. For the Lakers to have any chance of mounting a historic comeback, they are going to need Russell to find his stroke. After scoring 17.8 points per game during the regular season, the over/under is set too low for Russell in Game 4. Look for him to continue getting off plenty of shots, making the over 10.5 points (-125 at DraftKings) a wager worth locking in.
