Happy Friday and thanks to all the veterans out there. Picking the right projections can be a tough task, but with the help of OddsShopper’s NBA PrizePicks Optimizer and some diligent research, we have you covered. We have nine games on today’s slate including Wizards-Hornets that has the highest total of 240.5. Let’s dive into the best PrizePicks NBA picks and player projections for Friday starting with Gordon Hayward.
PrizePicks NBA Player Predictions | Nov. 10
Gordon Hayward M/L 10 Rebounds + Assists
You are not having déjà vu; this same prop was on here Wednesday. This is the same matchup for Gordon against the Wizards. This game has a 240.5 total, the highest on the slate. Both teams rank in the top four in pace and bottom three in defensive rating. Terry Rozier is out again for the Hornets, allowing Hayward to continue with an increased usage rate and to handle the ball when LaMelo Ball is not.
Hayward is averaging 5.1 assists on 8.1 potential assists this season, with 6.8 rebounds on 9 rebound chances. The Wizards rank dead last in opponent assists and FG%, and 26th in opponent rebounds. It’s a great game environment with plenty of opportunity for Hayward to surpass this number again, as he did on Wednesday, finishing with 12 rebounds + assists.
Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Gordon Hayward More Than 10 Rebounds + Assists
Killian Hayes, M/L 11.5 Points
Killian Hayes had a big game by his standards, scoring 14 points on 15 field goal attempts against the Bucks. The Bucks are sixth in pace and 25th in defensive rating. Tonight’s matchup with the first-place 76ers, who rank fourth in defensive rating, should yield different results. Hayes averaged just 10.7 field goal attempts last season, and his 15 attempts against the Bucks were a season high. Alec Burks and Jaden Ivey are both listed as out for tonight, giving Hayes more minutes. However, minutes don’t always translate to success, and we saw Marcus Sasser close the last game over Hayes anyway.
The 76ers allow the third-lowest field goal percentage to guards, at just 44.1%. Using OddsShopper’s Positive EV Bets tool, going under on points is a 2% advantage; most operators heavily favor under 11.5 points. One operator has this at 10.5.
Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Killian Hayes Less Than 11.5 Points
James Harden M/L 6.5 Assists
Another positive EV play, according to our OddsShopper tool, is going over on James Harden’s assists. In just his second game with the Clippers, Harden started and played 35 minutes in a loss to Brooklyn. He has a 28.9 AST% in his two games, and with all the offensive firepower on the Clippers, we can expect more total assists for the group as a whole.
The Clippers scored just 93 points in that contest but average 113.9 points on the season. This is a pace-up spot against the Mavericks, who rank 10th in pace and third in offensive rating. Dallas also ranks 24th in opponent assists allowed and 26th in opponent FG%. Harden led the Clippers with 50 passes and 11 potential assists in that loss to Brooklyn while the Clippers shot just 39.6% from the field and 22.2% from three-point range. I expect some positive regression tonight in an offensive game environment.
Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: James Harden More Than 6.5 Points Assists
Two-pick power plays and five-pick flex plays have the most expected value. If you’re looking for more picks, check out our PrizePicks Optimizer.
