Scottie Barnes, M/L 14.5  Rebounds + Assists

Barnes has been crushing this season and could be in line for an All-Star bid if the Raptors win a few more games. Barnes is averaging 15.6 rebounds + assists and ranks top-25 in both categories. The Wizards ranks first in pace and 26th in defensive rating. I’ve written about the same stat combo for Gordon Hayward when he played the Wizards two times last week. Barnes is a ball-handling guard like Hayward but bigger and a much better rebounder. If there was a fantasy square for Barnes (there might be later) I’d be all over that but this is the next best thing right now. Barnes is averaging 10 potential assists and 15.5 rebounds chances per game.

Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Scott Barnes More Than 14.5 Rebounds + Assists

Julius Randle, M/L  19.5 Points

Randle is listed as our best EV play for the NBA as of right now on OddsShopper’s premium tools. The juice is on the more side for all operators, while some have this square listed at 20.5. Although the Celtics rank third in defensive rating, they are allowing the second-most 3-point makes and the third-most points to forwards.

Randle is averaging 26.8 points in his last five games against Boston; the only game he failed to score 20 points was on opening night three weeks ago. However, the volume was there for Randle. He made three 3-pointers but shot 5-for-22 overall and 1-for-5 at the free-throw line. He shot 29.5% in October but is starting to heat up, averaging 24.3 points per game with a 44.6 FG% over his last three games. The Knicks are 9-point road underdogs tonight, but after starting slow, their offensive rating ranks eighth over this last five games.

Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Julius Randle More Than 19.5 Points

Damian Lillard + Zach LaVine, M/L 5.5 3-Point Makes (Combo)

This is the first time I’ve written about a combo square. I usually don’t like playing them because PrizePicks does a good job keeping odds even on them. However, today I really like going more on this one. The Bucks and Bulls have a 229.5 game total, the highest on the slate and both teams rank in the bottom five in the NBA in opponent 3PM. Both teams rank in the bottom eight in opponent 3P%, and the Bulls allow 40 3PA per game, the most in the NBA.

Lillard and LaVine love to shoot threes, and this is a great game environment for them to eclipse this number together. Lillard is averaging 2.4 3-point makes on just 29.3% shooting, while he’s a career 3.1 3-point makes and 37.2% shooter. This is a get-right spot for Dame. Similar to Lillard, LaVine is shooting just 32.4% from three, while he’s been above 37% the previous five seasons. I like both guys to hit three to four threes tonight, and going more is the way.

Best PrizePicks NBA Player Prediction: Damian Lillard + Zach LaVine More Than 5.5 3-Point Makes (Combo)

Two-pick power plays and five-pick flex plays have the most expected value. If you’re looking for more picks, check out our PrizePicks Optimizer.
