Best Warriors-Lakers NBA Player Props: It’s Stephen Curry Time

Stephen Curry Player Prop: O/U 30.5 Points

At 35 years of age, Stephen Curry is still one of the most lethal players in the league. He averaged 29.4 points per game during the regular season and has always saved his best performances when the Warriors need him the most. After falling behind the Sacramento Kings 0-2 in the opening playoffs series, Curry scored at least 30 points in four of the last five games of the season (he scored 29 in the Game 6 loss).

The Lakers seemingly found some answers for Curry and the Warriors offense in Game 3, slowing the game down and turning it into a rock fight instead of letting Golden State turn it into a track meet. The Warriors also gifted LA with 19 turnovers and poor shot selection. Curry also took issue with the free throw discrepancy (37-17 in the Lakers’ favor).

Curry referenced the foul trouble when mentioning how the Warriors failed to play their game and thus couldn’t into a rhythm on Saturday night.

“I mean, yeah. It’s never – especially on the road, and the way that they try to defend us, when the game stops it’s not in our favor. So, you just gotta understand momentum. In a game with two different styles of play, it all matters. There was a turnover where me and Klay had little miscommunication in transition, and then the barrage of whistles and all that stuff changed momentum quickly,” he said, per Fan Nation.

The Warriors will now go back to the drawing board and try to find ways to get Curry out in transition where he can operate the offense and find his shots. Luckily, recent history suggests they will be able to adjust to the Lakers’ style of play and put forth an inspired performance in Game 4.

Look for Curry to find answers and take matters into his own hands in Game 4, making the over 30.5 points (-110 at DraftKings Sportsbook) one of the best NBA player props for Monday. New users at DraftKings can also get $150 in bet credit with any $5 wager on the NBA Playoffs!
