Jayson Tatum Player Prop: Best Bulls-Celtics Bet Today
We can still take unders during the in-season tournament – especially when one of the teams is already eliminated. The Boston Celtics will host the Chicago Bulls, who are eliminated from the in-season tournament after just three games. The Celtics, on the other hand, need this win, plus other things to go their way to advance. Does that mean Jayson Tatum will see increased minutes? Sure. But this is still a nice spot to fade Tatum from a rebounding perspective. Let’s dive in!
When the Celtics are fully healthy, they’re tough to beat. Arguably the toughest team to defeat. They’ll be without Kristaps Porzingis tonight, with Jrue Holiday questionable. Holiday is a big proponent of this player prop bet. He averages a team-high 13.8 rebounding chances per game. Meanwhile, Porzingis averages a tick more than Tatum. Someway, Tatum is converting on 75% of his rebounding chances – a tough number to maintain.
Tuesday’s matchup features the biggest spread of all eight games. The Celtics are favored by 13.5 points, according to FanDuel. Factor in the Bulls playing at the third slowest pace in the league and having a bottom 10 defensive efficiency rating, and this game could get out of hand fast. Tatum has stayed under this line in two of the three in-season tournament games and 10 of 17 this season.
From an EV standpoint, BetRivers remains at the top of the list in +EV player props. They’ve listed Tatum at under 9.5 rebounds at -110, while the major books have vig on the under. Even at -120 on DraftKings, this player prop is still in play for a full unit if you want to join in on the fun.
