Darius Garland enters this competition with the highest three-point field goal percentage (43.1%) of any participant this year.
He’s also attempting three-pointers at the highest rate of his career (41%), making him one of the most efficient deep shooters this season.
With that confidence, Garland should be well-positioned to make a strong run in this contest. There’s no denying that his surrounding competition is fierce, but Garland feels like one of the strongest players to back on the board this evening.
Shooting from beyond the arc is his specialty, and he takes great pride in it. Let’s back him to advance past 1.5 rounds tonight—if his numbers hold up, he should have no trouble doing so.

Last year, Jalen Brunson’s three-point contest debut was a disappointment, as he finished sixth with just 24 points. The lefty sharpshooter has made it clear he’s motivated to improve this time around.
I’m backing Brunson to step up and advance past 1.5 rounds tonight. While he takes most of his shots from mid-range (49%), he’s still knocking down 40% of his three-point attempts this season.
Even though he doesn’t take a high volume of threes, his efficiency speaks for itself. If he gets locked in, he’s one of the purest shooters in the game—I’m banking on that showing tonight.
