Tyrese Maxey M/L Than 28.5 Points

The Philadelphia 76ers are on the second leg of a back-to-back after last night’s thrilling 132-129 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Tyrese Maxey logged 40 minutes in that game, putting up 29 points. Now, the Sixers face a quick turnaround as they travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls.

While the Bulls’ overall record may not stand out, their defense deserves respect. They rank 2nd in opponent three-point field goal percentage (34.3%) and 9th in three-point attempts allowed.

With weary legs from last night’s game and an underrated Bulls defense, backing Maxey to go over his points prop is a risky proposition. Instead, I’ll be doing the opposite and looking to fade him this evening.

Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections have Maxey scoring under 28 points in this matchup. I’m confident the Bulls’ defense will step up and effectively limit the 76ers’ top scorer tonight.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Tyrese Maxey Less Than 28.5 Points

LeBron James M/L Than 23.5 Points

The much-anticipated matchup between LeBron James and Steph Curry is set to take center stage once again tonight as the Warriors travel to La La Land to face the Lakers. Los Angeles enters as a slight 1-point favorite, with the total hovering around 218.5.

In their last meeting, the Lakers edged out a 115-113 road win, with James leading the way. The 40-year-old superstar dropped 31 points, shooting 12-22 from the floor and 2-4 from beyond the arc.

I’m expecting another strong performance from James tonight. While his shot selection is well-balanced, he takes 36% of his attempts from mid-range – a zone where the Warriors are particularly vulnerable. Golden State ranks dead last in mid-range attempts allowed and 29th in makes, making this a prime opportunity for James to exploit their defensive weakness.

This matchup offers James a chance to create separation from a spot where the Warriors consistently falter. Add the extra motivation of going up against Steph Curry, and I fully expect LeBron to keep his foot on the gas all game long.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: LeBron James More Than 23.5 Points
