Russell Westbrook M/L Than 17.5 Points
Veteran guard Russell Westbrook gets another shot at one of his former teams, the Houston Rockets.
In their first meeting, Westbrook shot 43% from the floor and scored 17 points, but the Nuggets lost at home, 128-108.
This time, Denver travels to Houston, where the Rockets should have an edge, especially with Nikola Jokić sidelined.
Without their star big man, Westbrook is likely to see more scoring opportunities, which is why his points prop is set around 17.5. However, that number feels a bit optimistic.
Westbrook remains inconsistent offensively and will face one of the NBA’s best defenses. The Rockets rank second in both defensive rating and opponent effective field goal percentage.
While his usage will increase, I don’t expect that to translate into enough scoring to clear this mark.

Tari Eason M/L Than 11.5 Points
Our next wager stays in this matchup, as I’m backing Rockets big man Tari Eason to score more than 11.5 points.
With Nikola Jokić sidelined, Denver loses a key defensive presence, which should benefit Eason. Nearly half (48%) of his shots come near the rim, and without Jokic’s size in the paint, Eason should have an easier path to scoring.
Stokastic’s NBA DFS Projections have him at 12 points, and I see potential for even more. Let’s take advantage of this favorable matchup and bet on Eason to hit at least 12 points.
