DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for Today’s NBA Slate (February 29)

Things are getting tight in the NBA as we are officially in the playoff stretch. The East, currently controlled by Boston, will see if the Milwaukee Bucks can win a fourth straight game. The top of the West is a logjam, but all eyes remain on the Golden State Warriors climbing back into playoff contention. Nonetheless, onto my DraftKings Pick6 predictions for today’s NBA state!

Here’s the lowdown on DraftKings Pick6: It is meant to mirror most pick’em sites, allowing you to build a two- to six-leg entry with larger payouts for more correct choices. However, the new product is peer-to-peer, meaning the strategy lies in beating other players in pre-selected tournaments rather than beating the house, making it important to be contrarian!

Let’s dive into the best DraftKings Pick6 predictions for today’s NBA action. Looking for more NBA pick’em advice? Check out the rest of our NBA articles or our NBA pick’em tools. You can also read our guide to DraftKings Pick6.

DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for Today’s NBA Slate

Nikola Jokic M/L 12.5 Rebounds

Fading anything Nikola Jokic may not seem like the best strategy, at least on the surface. That’s partly what drives up the cost of these props and why targeting unders can be a profitable strategy in Pick6. The Nuggets remain home against Miami after hosting the Kings last night. Jokic triple-doubled for the fourth straight time since the All-Star Game, staying above 12.5 boards in each.

The Nuggets are in for a far tougher defensive battle against the Heat, especially after running through the Kings. Jokic averages 11.5 rebounds over 12 games against Bam Adebayo, another reason why we fade the Joker. The number is far below what he’s done over this recent stretch, but reflects the tougher matchup – against a tougher defender.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Nikola Jokic LESS Than 12.5 Rebounds

Lu Dort M/L 3.5 Rebounds

Once again we target the rebounds market but a smaller total for Lu Dort. This game has a massive blowout potential as the Thunder have won six straight, and the host Spurs have dropped five in a row.

The Thunder aren’t the best overall rebounding team by any means, one of their few weaknesses, as Dort isn’t going to reverse this. The Spurs have a massive advantage on the boards with Victor Wembanyana lurking.

Dort is right at this number – 3.4 RPG – in the 10 games played in February, but there’s volatility getting to that number.

We see this as a value spot. He’s stayed below 3.5 boards in three of his last four games, and we expect that trend to continue.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Lu Dort LESS Than 3.5 Rebounds

Brandin Podziemski M/L 21.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

Here come the Golden State Warriors, winners of eight out of ten games, taking on the Knicks tonight in New York. In the process, Brandin Podziemski had a few huge games and now everyone’s in love. With guys like Chris Paul and Klay Thompson coming off the bench, bettors found a charm in the Warriors rookie guard.

That also works in our favor as “Podz” failed to clear this number in his last two games. This is not an easy matchup in both tempo and physicality against the Knicks, creating more difficult scoring chances. Podziemski won’t clear this number if he’s not scoring, and the Knicks will clamp down.

The Warriors may win, like they did on Tuesday against the Wizards, but we stay under 21.5 PRA.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Brandin Podziemski LESS Than 21.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
