O.G. Anunoby M/L Than 4.5 Rebounds
If nothing else, O.G. Anunoby is consistent. In two games against the 76ers, Anunoby had four rebounds in each. This comes with a massive rebound advantage in Game 1, followed by a better effort from Philadelphia. So far, the game flow hasn’t impacted Anunoby rebounding, at least not anything positive. While role players tend to shrink a little on the road in the playoffs, Anunoby should pick up a little more scoring slack than rebounding.
He’s just over 4.2 on the year and saw a dip towards the end of the regular season. The 76ers are well aware of his abilities; they will do more to keep Anunoby off the scoring sheet rather than the glass. With the implied odds of -136 at Pick6, OddsShopper found a nice break against the true market price of -146. That’s a 3% edge worth exploiting.

It’s a good representation of the volatility we see with smaller markets like Gordon’s assists, even though he’s hit five assists in two of the three regular season games versus Los Angeles. We still see value in fading Gordon’s passing abilities tonight, at least limiting him to at most four.
Denver needed a mega boost in the final frame to overcome a massive deficit. Despite getting the win, the Nuggets still played the Lakers tight in victory. That could shift to Los Angeles’ favor tonight as LeBron James and Anthony Davis should get more from their teammates at home. This play has true odds of -145, which is behind the implied odds of -136 on Pick6. The break is favorable and the price yields profit over time.

Austin Reaves M/L Than 4.5 Assists
Same game, same market. Another smaller number in the assist category, this time for Austin Reaves. While we’ve seen starter minutes out of Reaves, the production resembles more of a role player. Whether that’s on him or Denver has relegated him is just a different means to a similar end; Reaves is struggling to fit in. He’s struggling with his shot, and the Lakers need him to find it. He missed from behind the arc badly in Game 2 and was equally rough from 3 in Game 1.
The Lakers need Reaves to find his shot from deep rather than become an overnight facilitator. Denver isn’t an easy matchup for anyone in the playoffs, so expect the focus for Reaves to be on scoring over passing. There’s still a marginal edge against the market with a -138 true market price on less than 4.5 assists. With our implied odds of -136, the bet is still +EV even though the edge is small.
