Isaiah Hartenstein M/L Than 9.5 Rebounds
The Knicks big man comes off a successful series against the 76ers where he was dominant on the offensive glass. The 9.5-rebound total doesn’t indicate a massive carryover against the Pacers. In fact, Hartenstein played well against Philadelphia but failed to hit 10 rebounds in any of the six games. The Pacers don’t boast a Joel Embiid, but the tempo and a healthier Mitchell Robinson could spell another seven- to eight-rebound night for Hartenstein.

This is the hardest category for Tyrese Haliburton to solve against the Knicks backcourt. We saw this in the previous series for the Knicks; their backcourt will grab rebounds, which may simply be leftover scraps from their frontcourt. New York will gladly entertain a faster pace against Indiana. Haliburton split the six games down the middle staying above or below 4.5 rebounds, but even with injury the Bucks are far less of a problem on the glass. The Knicks should do a solid job of crashing the offensive glass while keeping Pacers guards — even Haliburton — limited on the other side.

Jamal Murray may lead the Nuggets all time in 3-point buckets, but he’s not going on any tear tonight. Healthy Murray isn’t walking through that door. We just saw both Minnesota limit him and the Nuggets hold back a bit on minutes. There’s a tough combination right now with a hurt Murray against this Timberwolves team also battling a light minutes restriction. That means the Nuggets would rather have him sit a few extra minutes during the game so he’s ready for the final five minutes of crunch time.
He just came off a 2-for-4 game from deep against Minnesota, and not much will change with Murray’s health. The calf strain isn’t going to magically heal, and his teammate Nikola Jokic may get swallowed up again by Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. This matchup was already tough even without the calf injury, and now playing hurt, Murray’s uphill climb isn’t going to success from deep.
