Miami is getting pretty healthy, most importantly with Jimmy Butler, so Herro’s time as the nightly ball-dominant playmaker is probably at an end. That doesn’t mean he’s not going to get shots minutes and shots — he dropped 32 last night playing alongside Butler — but it does suggest the scoring will take center stage and the assists will regress around his season average.
That number is currently 5.2 a game, which is a career high but still below this 5.5 projection. Plus, Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections only have him Herro at 5.0 tonight despite the Heat getting a significant pace up against Indiana. As a result, we give Herro a 59% chance of staying below 5.5 assists.
Luguentz Dort Lower Than 4.5 Rebounds
While Herro faces a team that pushes the pace, Dort and the Thunder are getting the plodding Clippers — which is a given since James Harden is (effectively) running the show there.
