Giannis Antetokounmpo did not bother hanging around for very long in the NBA All-Star Game. The Milwaukee Bucks star entered the NBA All-Star game dealing with a lingering wrist injury. Given the situation, Antetokounmpo played for just one play, making a layup before exiting the game after just 20 seconds.

PrizePicks Voids Giannis Antetokounmpo All-Star Game Bets
Many bettors took to Twitter to call on PrizePicks and sportsbooks to void the Giannis Antetokounmpo bets for the NBA All-Star game. There is still no word on what some of the sportsbooks will do about the Antetokounmpo player props, but PrizePicks announced that they will void any over bets, granting users a win if they took the under on any of the Giannis props.

The over/under for Antetokounmpo points was set at 23.5 (-110 on DraftKings) ahead of the NBA All-Star Game, but it was a pretty risky bet for any over bettors considering that he had a known injury heading into the game.
Antetokounmpo is clearly doing the responsible thing by managing his injury but has made sure to be a part of the All-Star Weekend regardless. Antetokounmpo drafted his Team Giannis squad to go up against Team LeBron, and also coached the Celebrity All-Star Game for Dwayne Wade’s team on Friday night. He revealed after coaching the celebs to a win that he would like to coach when his playing days are over.
“Afterward, when I retire, I want to be a head coach. A lot of people don’t know that about me, but I want to be a head coach. I really want to be,” Antetokounmpo told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel after he coached in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game Friday night. “It’s kind of hard, because you have no control. And, I know the game of basketball, I know how to play the game of basketball, so it’s hard.”
Giannis will now get another chance to sit on the bench and coach a team on Sunday after the planned exit from the All-Star Game, but many out there with Giannis Antetokounmpo bets pending in their accounts will be left wondering if their plays will get voided.
