Best Parlay for Today, May 16 | BetMGM
Anthony Davis Over 22.5 Points (-115)
This is a low line, and Davis has a 54% chance of hitting this over, making it a solid pick. Davis is the Lakers’ key player in this series and their best path to staying in it against the Nuggets. Davis is a bit up and down with scoring, but he is healthy enough for once, so there are fewer concerns about his availability than typical. Assuming he is on the floor, Davis should have no trouble getting over 22.5 points.
Shane Bieber Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-120)
Although Bieber is a great pitcher, this is not necessarily the best matchup for him. He is on the road, facing a White Sox team that does not strike out much. Luis Robert is the only guy to pinpoint as a repeat offender, but Bieber doesn’t have a team that can help him when he is struggling to get strikeouts. With limited strikeouts for a couple of guys in the White Sox lineup, and Bieber not putting up great numbers anyway, he has a 58% chance of staying under and offers a 6% ROI.
Luis Ortiz Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-140)
Ortiz is on the road facing a Tigers team that strikes out a little bit more than the White Sox. However, he has not done enough to suggest his stuff is there, and what he has shown is not impressive. He had only one strikeout through five innings in his lone outing this year, which was May 9 against the Rockies. Even if he makes it through five innings, he is not blowing people away, making under 4.5 strikeouts a fine bet. It has a 59% chance of winning and offers an even-better 11% ROI.
