We’re in the final week of the regular season, and it’s all about identifying motivation, injury value and total misprices. I have two of the best NBA bets I’m locking in for Monday’s short two-game slate, starting with a Kings-Pistons pick. Let’s go.

Kings vs. Pistons
This is the one full play I’m making in the NBA tonight. Sacramento is still fighting for playoff positioning, but it is locked into the No. 9 or 10 mix. Meanwhile, Detroit is … Detroit. And the total on this game is just too high.
The Kings are banged up — Keegan Murray may sit again — and they’re playing their third game in four nights, having just pulled off a huge comeback against Cleveland. On Detroit’s side, Jalen Duren and Tobias Harris are both questionable. If either sits, that’s another offensive downgrade.
This total is currently sitting at 232, and with Sacramento’s offense potentially muted and Detroit’s pace in the basement, I’m riding the under here with confidence. It is a half-unit play but one I feel good about.

Heat vs. 76ers
I don’t have a full play here yet, but this game is a total injury mess. Tyler Herro, Alec Burks and Andrew Wiggins are all questionable, and Haywood Highsmith being in or out actually matters a lot defensively.
On the 76ers side, Ricky Council, Jeff Dowtin and Alex Reese are all approaching their two-game limits for two-way contracts, so be very cautious about overs on fringe 76ers players. Kyle Lowry is back from the dead, but it doesn’t mean he’s playable.
If news breaks the right way, I’ll be looking at props. This feels like a player-prop-or-nothing game for me, especially in a spot where both teams are hard to trust against the spread without lineup clarity.
