The Kyrie Irving next team odds have been revealed after the Brooklyn Nets point guard reportedly demanded to be traded ahead of next week’s deadline. The Los Angeles Lakers appear to be in the driver’s seat for a potential Irving deal, but there are several other teams lurking if/when the Nets decide to welcome talks with potential suitors.

Kyrie Irving Next Team Odds: Lakers to Make a Move?
Per PointsBet, the Lakers (+125) are the favorites to agree to terms with the Nets on a Kyrie Irving trade. They are followed by the Miami Heat (+275), Dallas Mavericks (+375), Los Angeles Clippers (+400), Chicago Bulls (+700), Atlanta Hawks (+1000), Utah Jazz (+1000), Minnesota Timberwolves (+1400) and Sacramento Kings (+2000).
Irving recently indicated that he’d be open to teaming up with LeBron James again in the future.
“Whenever he decides to play [until], I’m enjoying the show, ” Irving said when complimenting James before he breaks the all-time scoring record, per Marca. “And I wish we could have gotten a chance to play against one another but who knows what can happen down the line?”
The Nets have been without Kevin Durant since early January, leaving Irving to try to carry the load on his own. The team’s deficiencies were on full display when they were blown out by the Boston Celtics 139-96 on Wednesday night. Irving voiced his frustration with his team’s compete level after the game.
“When you’re going against a very motivated team such as the Boston Celtics, they have a chip on their shoulder,” Irving said, per Mass Live. “It’s clear as day that they want to win a championship and not waste any time in the regular season. So tonight I felt like we were just one of those teams in the way and we just can’t be one of those teams in the way. We got to be one of those teams that stands up to them and at least shows them that we’re going to be competition for them moving forward, which I believe we are.”
Irving is said to be looking for an extension, and perhaps the Nets’ unwillingness to break the bank on his services pushed him over the edge, resulting in the trade demand.
