Wizards vs. Pacers
This is a game where you have to think about implications. Indiana is jockeying for playoff position, and Washington is … well, Washington. It is just trying to get to the finish line.
With that context, the total of 238.5 is too high. I have it projected about 2.5 points lower. The Pacers may want to win, but they’re not going to be in full-on track meet mode with such a poor opponent. And Washington, even in garbage time, doesn’t score efficiently enough to justify this number.
This has been a theme lately; I’ve been betting more unders, and they’ve been cashing. I’m going to stick with what’s working.

Lakers vs. Thunder
We’re talking must-compete basketball right now for the Lakers. They’re currently the No. 3 seed, but things are so tight in the West that they could fall all the way to No. 8. Every game matters. That’s why I’m on them +14.5 against Oklahoma City.
The Thunder are locked in as the No. 1 seed. They’ve been resting guys, rotating bodies and aren’t playing with the same urgency as Los Angeles is. Meanwhile, the Lakers will be at full strength, and this is one of those spots where effort and motivation mean everything.
I’m expecting the Lakers to show up in a big way. Give me the points in a must-win scenario.
