Caesars Sportsbook Promo: Terms & Conditions
This promotion is one of the best of the NBA offseason: all users at Caesars Sportsbook can get two 50% profit boosts to use on any sport just by placing at least a $50 wager on the NBA championship markets. While you'll get the profit boosts immediately, you'll have to wait a while to see how your NBA futures bet settles.
A few important terms and conditions apply. For one, the maximum wager for which you can sue the profit boost is $50. Further, your boosted winnings are capped at $1,000, so if you're expecting to make your longshot parlay that much more fun to sweat, it's probably wisest of you to use the profit boost on another market.
A few more important notes for the profit boosts: first, they are only eligible for use on markets with odds of -200 or longer; second, super boosts, odds boosts, round robins, and teasers are ineligible to be boosted. For all other terms and conditions, click here.
Caesars Sportsbook Promo: Best & Worst Odds
Let's start by acknowledging the simple fact that, in almost all cases, you aren't getting the best NBA championship odds by taking advantage of this promotion. Caesars has odds that are right with the market consensus -- or are worse than it -- for every team except the Cavaliers, Grizzlies, Knicks, Pelicans and Nets. If you have confidence in any of those teams' chances of winning the title, Caesars is the perfect book for you to get some action down.
Some of the favorites have much shorter odds at Caesars than in other spots. For example, the Warriors are +900 at Caesars but are +1400 at BetMGM and FanDuel. The Denver Nuggets are +420 at Caesars but are +550 at every other public book. If you're thinking about getting some action down on those teams, do so elsewhere but pick another team for this promotion. Both of those teams should contend this year, but they're not ones I'm excited about backing at either Caesars or the market price.
NBA Championship Pick: Phoenix Suns
I got action down on the Phoenix Suns to win the 2023-24 NBA championship right after the Damian Lillard trade. Surprisingly, their decision to ship off Deandre Ayton for Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen and other pieces hasn't swung the market much. The Suns had already gone from +850 in mid-June to +600 in mid-July. They're still trading at +550 on Caesars, and they're who I'm backing to take advantage of this deal.

But why am I taking the Suns? Phoenix had two huge problems in last year's playoffs: poor perimeter shooting and a lack of depth. Deandre Ayton's inability to stay on the floor compounded the second problem by forcing the Suns to feature Jock Landale. With the changing NBA landscape, both of those problems were especially important for Phoenix to resolve, and they did so in the offseason.
First, the Suns' new additions give them plenty of firepower on the perimeter. Bradley Beal has averaged 2.2 3-pointers per game for his career, an improvement of Chris Paul, who has averaged 1.4. While not originally much of a perimeter shooter, Jusuf Nurkic averaged 0.8 3-pointers per game last year, far more than Deandre Ayton, who averaged 0.1.
The new additions to Phoenix's bench will help them on the perimeter, too. Shooting guard Grayson Allen averaged 2 on 39.9% shooting, power forward Yuta Watanabe averaged 1 on 44.4% shooting and small forward Keita Bates-Diop averaged 0.8 on 39.4%. Veteran wing Eric Gordon, who the Suns may give some run at the point, also averaged 1.9 on 37.1%.
Second, the Suns meaningfully bolstered their depth. I already listed some of their above replacement-level acquisitions above, but a few more names jump out. Center Drew Eubanks provides a more traditional presence in the paint, while center Bol Bol offers plenty of length with shooting upside. Chimezie Metu and Nassir Little round out the backcourt. Saben Lee and Jordan Goodwin round out the frontcourt. They aren't studs, but they're more than serviceable reserve options. The Suns won't need their stars to play 48 minutes in the playoffs this time, and I suspect they'll get the best of an aging Western Conference.
