NBA Parlay Picks Today: 2-Leg Bet for Thursday
Lauri Markkanen o23.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
If you look at the last two games, you’re probably yelling at the screen saying I’m an insane person because Lauri Markkanen hasn’t topped the 15-point mark.
While you may be in the right for calling me an insane person — because I definitely am — it’s not because Markkanen has had a couple of down games in the scoring category.
Lauri and the Jazz welcome in the Philadelphia 76ers tonight, who are likely going to be without Joel Embiid, and, POSSIBLY, Tyrese Maxey. Right now the Jazz are 4.5-point favorites, which is a good thing for us betting the OVER on Lauri Markkanen’s 23.5-point prop.
This line feels as if the oddsmakers are banking on Maxey playing, and we want this game to stay competitive so Markkanen gets full run — because we know Will Hardy jacks with minutes and lineups as is.
The points line tonight for Markkanen is right at his season average, but without Joel Embiid in the lineup tonight, it should open up a lot of scoring opportunities down low for our guy.
In 12 games without Embiid this season, Philly is allowing 116.4 points per game. And, we’ve seen this SAME MATCHUP earlier this season WITHOUT Embiid. In that game, Markkanen scored 33 points and was 12-of-19 from the floor.
Obviously, that’s a high percentage, so we shouldn’t expect THAT type of shooting percentage again, but it does highlight the fact that Markkanen is capable of getting basically whatever he wants without Embiid clogging the lane.

Now, I know that most of you don’t like betting unders, but we’re throwing an under on this card. I mean, everything we’ve touched has turned to absolute dog sh*t as is, so, we gotta try to switch it up a little bit here.
The under for tonight? Jaren Jackson Jr. UNDER 25.5 points.
Right now, this bet is grading out with a 2% EV rating in the OddsShopper Prop Tool. So, the #Nerds are behind us in firing this one up.
JJJ has gone UNDER 25.5 points in almost 70% of his games this season (31 of 45 games).
Tonight, the Grizzlies play the Cavs, who are on a back-to-back. But, keep in mind, the Cavs do have the third-best defensive rating this season.
And, against power forwards and centers? Well, they’ve kept them in check. Cleveland is only allowing 23 points per game to PFs and 21 points per game to Cs.
