Trae Young o23.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
I’m starting our NBA parlay today with a guy who has been a tad hit or miss for us this season. We’re taking Trae Young over 23.5 points.
This line stuck out like a sore thumb when I was looking for bets this morning. This line felt at least two points too low, so I had to jump all over it immediately.
Trae should rarely have a points prop under 25, especially in a matchup against a team like Charlotte.
Over their last 15 games, the Hornets are allowing almost 27 points per game to opposing point guards, and we know Trae can be an offensive microwave and cook in a matter of seconds.
Atlanta is a 6.5-point favorite on the road tonight, but its the worst team against the spread in the NBA this year. It doesn’t feel like a spot where the Hawks should be favored by this much, especially on the road.
All that to say, this feels like a spot that could be competitive, so I think we’re going to get full Trae run.
Tre Mann o5.5 Assists (NBA Player Prop)
From one Trae to another. We’re firing up Tre Mann over 5.5 assists for the second leg of our NBA parlay today.
If we look at the OddsShopper Prop Bet Finder, we can see that Tre Mann is listed with a 55% expected win rate on this 5.5 assist prop.
Not only that, the sportsbooks are DEFINITELY leaning toward him hitting the over here, as the current odds on the over 5.5 assist prop is heavily juiced at -145.
However, we can fight the juice a little bit because we have a 30% profit boost on our parlay today at bet365.
Looking at Mann since joining the Hornets, he’s played 27 and 34 minutes, and has 9 and 7 assists in those games.
In this matchup against the Hawks, he should be able to continue the trend, as the Hawks are allowing over 9 assists per game to opposing point guards.
This game should feature tons of pace and has a 238.5 projected total. He should get plenty of assist opportunities, he just needs to get us 6.
Nick Richards o8.5 Rebounds (NBA Player Prop)
This is a play that is mostly picking on the battered and bruised front line of the Atlanta Hawks tonight.
Nick Richards will be going against the Atlanta front court that will be missing Onyeka Okongwu and Clint Capela, so they’ll be forced to play more Bruno Fernando, or go small with Jalen Johnson playing some at the 5.
So, with that type of undersized front court, I think it’s a prime spot to pick on Nick Richards over 8.5 rebounds.
Richards has gone over this number in five of his last seven games, and Atlanta has given up 15 rebounds per game to centers. And, that was WITH Okongwu and Capela for most of the season.
Imagine what it could be WITHOUT them.
And if you’re feeling spicy, you can even saw this with a Nick Richards double-double. I’m not doing it, but if you’re a true degen, I wouldn’t hate it.
