Our NBA parlay picks today are often a strange voyage. **clears throat for best Dos Equis guy voice** I don’t always take moral victories in betting, but when I do … it’s when Cam Thomas shoots 4-for-21 from the field and STILL almost cashes a parlay for us!
I mean, this guy did everything he could to get us a parlay win despite foul trouble and having arguably the worst shooting night of the season. Obviously, not the result we wanted, but the read was SPOT ON. So, we can have a little copium with that. Now it’s time for our top NBA parlay picks for today, Tuesday, February 6th, including an NBA player prop pick for Jalen Green. Need more action? NBA Parlay Picks Today: +490 Bet for Tuesday
Jalen Green 20+ Points (NBA Player Prop)
The Houston Rockets are going to be without Fred VanVleet tonight when they take on the Indiana Pacers, which should put Jalen Green in line for a little more action.
I love taking advantage of spots like this where there should be an increase in volume and attempts for a guy, especially when he’s getting a pace-up matchup like this against Indy. So, we’re going to get in on Jalen Green for 20+ points tonight.
In the two games Green has played without FVV this season, he’s averaging 21 points and 15 shot attempts. Now, VanVleet hadn’t really been commanding a ton of shot volume as of late, but, it never hurts to have a guy like Green get the ball in his hands a little more.
How is the matchup here? Well, it’s a good one. A damn good one actually.
The Pacers allow the third-most points to opposing shooting guards this year (24.34 per game). Green did only score 5 points in his last game against the Pacers, but he only played 20 minutes and attempted 7 shots. That feels like an insane outlier.
With Indy having Pascal Siakam to give Alperen Sengun a lot more friction defensively, that should hopefully give our guy the … wait for it … Green light to shoot. Get it? Green … Green light …
All jokes aside, this feels like a spot where we can back Green, as we know the Rockets are going to need to score to keep up with the Pacers in this games with a 242.5 projected total.
Isaiah Hartenstein o11.5 Rebounds (NBA Player Prop)
If you’ve been riding with me of late, you’ve been smashing on some Isaiah Hartenstein rebound and double-double props, and it’s been a hell of a run.
So, we’re going to dance with the one who brought us. Isaiah Hartenstein over 11.5 rebounds tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.
It’s no secret, Memphis is the most injured team in the history of ever. The Grizzlies are legitimately without their entire starting lineup, which means no Jaren Jackson Jr. or Xavier Tillman Sr. to provide much resistance on the glass.
Over the last 15 games, Memphis is allowing the most rebounds to opposing centers at 18.5 per game. And if you drill down to the last 7 games, that goes up to almost 20 per game!
Hartenstein just played the Grizzlies on Jan. 13 and son’d them for 20 rebounds in that matchup. And that was when the Grizz at least had Tillman to try to battle for rebounds.
Tonight, they have legitimately zero bigs I’ve heard of outside of David Roddy. This could be another Hulk smash spot for Hartenstein.
John Collins o21.5 Points + Rebounds (NBA Player Prop)
This has been a prop that I’ve been hammering in the OddsShopper Premium Discord, so the members have been taking advantage of this one with me.
I think we can go back to this well and include it as the last leg of our NBA parlay picks today: John Collins over 21.5 points + rebounds.
Yes, the idea of playing any Jazz player outside of Lauri Markkanen is a somewhat scary proposition given their propensity to disperse minutes like crazy. But, that’s why they call it gamblin’, baby.
Collins has gone over the 21.5 mark in seven straight games, and tonight he gets a matchup with an awful rebounding Oklahoma City Thunder team.
Utah is one of the best rebounding teams in the league, and Collins is a key cog in that. If you look at Collins in his last matchup against OKC, he only grabbed 4 rebounds, but the main reason for that was foul trouble.
However, he still managed to go over this prop because he scored 21 points to go along with those rebounds; and he did this in 24 minutes because he was in heavy foul trouble.
I think if Collins stays out of foul trouble, we should see him post a another 15-18 points and 6-9 rebounds and gets us to the 22 points + rebounds we need.
